WOW! We love it! Incredible work. The footage is jaw-dropping, music and SFX fit perfectly, and it’s captured the vibe of Bali Experience to a tee.

After 6 weeks of non-stop production scooting around Thailand, Vietnam and Bali with over 120 adventure hungry backpackers, the RaD team have wrapped the last leg of the epic Intro Travel project 2017 – for now.
Producing 10 cutting edge travel films from Bangkok to Phangan and Phi Phi, Hanoi to HCMC, Seminyak to Lovina, Gili and Mount Batur fresh for the launch of the epic travel collective’s new website launch, the RaD team have loved every minute.
“South East Asia is one of our favourite regions in the world,” explains creative director Saxon. “We’ve been here so many times but seeing peoples souls light up with new experiences.”
Re-connecting to your fashion roots this year saw Melbourne based High-end brand Wlly launch, accompanied by a set of dreamy fashion films to introduce the label’s SS 17/18 collection.
Headed by designer Genevieve Marks, the collection was introduced to industry, press and social media influencers in a suitably romantic location in Melbourne’s fashionable Eastern suburb of Hawthorn. “It’s great to be back in the studio shooting fashion” explains producer Nicola, who headed the project. “Natural light is still an absolute favourite though!”
Thank you so much for all your hard work and enthusiasm, it’s been incredible to work with you. We love the videos, awesome work!

Melbourne may be regarded as the be all and end all for good living, but the Australian city’s suburb of Dandenong has for years held a less than idea reputation as being a little rough around the edges. When commissioned to create a series of 8 films about the City of Greater Dandenong by Destination Melbourne, the RaD fell in love with the home of an incredible variety of people from all around the planet.
“We travel a lot and our favourite parts of any destination are often the most authentic, local, gritty places.” explains producer Nicola. “In a world full of pre-packaged, standardised, soulless consumer goods and experiences, it’s a breath of fresh air to be in a place that has real human connection with all the twists and turns of everyday life”.
Shooting at wineries, markets, hidden tea shops, wake boarding parks, crazy afghan rug shops, family restaurants that resemble ornate desert tents, saree tailors, polish smokehouses, South East Asian temples, state of the art theatres and the southern hemisphere’s largest go-carting track makes you wonder where you can find this variety of things to do, see, smell and taste. You’ll never guess where…
Melbourne Australia has proudly announced it has been voted the world’s most liveable city 6 years running. Following the exciting news, the Destination Melbourne team have made it their mission to make Melbourne the world’s most visitable city too.
“Visitability is tricky to pronounce, but an integral part of the visitor experience,” explains Laura Cavallo, CEO of Destination Melbourne, who commissioned the Rat & Dragon team to create the flagship film for DM’s new push to inspire the industry. Working with Museums Victoria, the Pullman Group, Transport for Victoria, the City of Melbourne, Skybus and Lonely Planet’s very own Accessible Travel Manager Martin Heng, the team created a set of engaging and inspiring films playing off the difficulty many have with pronouncing the campaign’s key term, and thereby making it all the more memorable.
The Rat & Dragon team has been commissioned to produce all new content across Intro Travel’s epic Thailand, Vietnam, Bali and Australia network. The youth & adventure travel veterans have recently announced their expansion into higher-end trips with their bespoke ‘Experience’ tours launching this season.
“We’re very excited to be working with Intro Travel and it’s going to be fantastic filming again in our old stomping ground of South East Asia”, explains producer Nicola. “It’s going to be a fast paced 6 weeks of non-stop production to capture primary photography, so watch this space!”
We’re very proud of this video and we can strongly recommend Rat & Dragon to you for any content production needs you might have.
